Huey

Say hello to handsome Huey! Though understandably anxious at first, Huey quickly settled into his foster home and his charming personality blossomed. Huey is a cuddler extraordinaire! He loves to sit in laps, enjoys a good belly rub,likes being brushed and groomed and even sits for a nail trim. What a posh pup! Sleeping in a dog bed near his humans is his preferred nighttime arrangement. Be warned, this adorable ruby-colored boy snores. Zzzzzz.

Youthful Huey is very active and has a lot of energy. He loves long walks and has excellent leash manners. He’d probably enjoy being a hiking or running partner as well. Sweet Huey is good with both school-aged children and cats. Though he’s not much for toys, he loves a good chew bone. Huey is housebroken! Being left alone is one thing Huey is not fond of; he prefers to have some sort of companion nearby.   

Nearly perfect Huey is eagerly awaiting his new home. Will it be yours?

🐶 Age: 5 years. Turns six years in May.

👍🏻 Weight:  27 lbs.

🐾 Circumstances: Owner surrender

❤️ Health:  Huey is in good health generally but is a bit overweight so will need to lose a few pounds. He recently had a dental but will need to be neutered. CRF microchips all rescues.

✔️ An active family who is home most of the time.

✔️ A fenced yard.

✔️ Another companion animal preferred.
