  • Kylie & Keegan | Cavalier Rescue FL

< back to home Kylie & Keegan Adopt Me Rotunda West Give a big welcome to the easygoing pair - Keegan and Kylie. This adorable duo has adapted to their new home well. Like most Cavaliers, they are lapdogs and like to be near their humans. Sometimes they snuggle together, other times they enjoy just being near each other. Both sleep in their own crates with little fuss. These playmates like a good game of tug-o-war. On walks Keegan and Kylie tend to bark at people and dogs but over time this has improved. They just need a bit of guidance. What sets these two apart? Not much! Ruby coated Keegan is a bit more laid back. He has a couple white spots that add to his charm. Tri-colored Kylie is a bit more active and loves to lounge outside--a lady of leisure. Youngsters Keegan and Kylie are quite the pair! They are good with children. Cats are unknown. Will you be the lucky family to give this dynamic duo a new fur-ever home? 🐶 Age: Keegan is 3, and Kylie is almost 3. 👍🏻 Weight: Keegan is 22 lbs. • Douglas | Cavalier Rescue FL

< back to home Douglas Adopt Me Bradenton Introducing freckled-faced Douglas ! He’s described as a lizard chasing lapdog who loves long walks. He even looks forward to getting his harness on. Good boy! Though calm in demeanor, Douglas is a bit skittish around energetic dogs, active children and moving cars. He tolerates friendly, similar sized dogs but he doesn’t actively engage with them. Being the only dog in the house would suit this sweet Blenheim well. Sleeping arrangements for Douglas are simple, he prefers a bed or bedroom floor. He becomes vocal when crated. House breaking is going well. To be the best-est boy he can, Douglas will need additional training. He knows ‘sit’ and is working on other commands but will look to you for additional guidance and structure. Douglas is a charmer! He loves to play with the sliding glass door and smoosh his nose against the glass. Silly boy. 🐶 Age: 4 years 👍🏻 Weight: 15 lbs. 🐾 Circumstances: Owner surrender ❤️ Health: Douglas has been vetted and is being scheduled for a neurology visit for further evaluation. He does have a Grade 1/6 heart murmur. < back to home Candie Adopt Me! Melbourne True to her name, Candie is as sweet as can be. She is quiet, gentle and relaxed. But don’t let that fool you, she has an adventurous side. Car rides, exploring backyard paths, and peering “paws up” on a fence to watch lizards are just a few things she just loves to do. Candie , a Blenheim beauty and all-round sweetheart, will captivate you with her melty eyes and cute smile. Meeting new people, especially children, brings Candie to life. • Elliott | Cavalier Rescue FL

< back to home Elliott Donate Adopted! Welcome little Elliott ! This happy little Blenheim has the most loving eyes and sweet disposition. He is settling in well. Elliott’ s favorite things are toys, chasing balls and following his humans around. You might find him sitting at the front door waiting for a walk. He loves a good walk and wonderfully, his leash manners are improving. As with many Cavaliers, Elliott is eager to please and loves attention. He does need additional training but is a quick study. Elliott can become a bit “overjoyed” when meeting other dogs and is learning that barking or jumping does not get him the attention he desires. It’s just that he wants to share all the love he has to give. Napping is another thing Elliott excels at; he does sleep in a crate but has little interest in getting up on furniture. Elliott is housebroken and would be a great addition to any active family, but cats are unknown at this time. 🐶 Age: 4.5 years 👍🏻 Weight: 17 lbs. 🐾 Circumstances: Owner surrender ❤️ Health: Elliott has been fully vetted, and his heart, ears and eyes are healthy. Yay! Lab work is pending. He was recently neutered and had his dental cleaning. • Elle | Cavalier Rescue FL

< back to home Elle Adopt Me St, Petersburg Meet sweet Elle , an easy-going and happy tri-color girl. Elle is a proud member of the Belly Rub club! She loves her humans and snuggling in bed with her blanket. Though a good sleeper, she may serenade you with her melodic song (a.k.a. snoring ❤️ ). Elle is settling into her new surroundings well. She likes her foster sister and follows her around. However, since Elle is deaf, she is a bit insecure and needs to know where her humans are. She does not like being left alone and will bark if you go to another part of the house without her. Adorable Elle is a foodie extraordinaire. She will attempt to eat anything on the floor. You may never need to sweep again! However, a watchful eye is needed to make sure she doesn’t get something she shouldn’t, especially around small children. Though mostly laid-back, Elle has spurts of energy and enjoys her walks. She even finds the sight of her leash soothing, even if she isn’t going anywhere. Elle is housebroken. • Morgan | Cavalier Rescue FL

< back to home Morgan Donate Adopted! Meet Morgan , he's an adorable little snuggle bug who only weighs seven pounds. We think he’s the Travel Size Cavalier! All Morgan wants is a spot on your lap (or a puppy sling over your shoulder) and lots of love. We don't know much about his history, but he rarely barks, loves easily, and will likely be your little shadow who just wants to be with his human. We don't know how Morgan feels about sharing the spotlight since he is the only child in his foster family. He’s one of three Cavalier mixes in pretty rough shape that appeared as an immediate in-need situation. Yeah, we caved. Some say these curly locked cuties are Cavapoos, but we’ve got some that think differently. No matter, we’ll take care of him. He's only been with his foster family for a short time, but they are very happy with the progress he's made adjusting to his new life of love. He's doing well with his crate training and learning to walk on a harness and leash. When his foster parents are out of the room or have to leave him for short periods of time, he's happy in his little playpen. When they are away for longer periods of time he stays in his crate. Morgan is absolutely adorable and would love nothing more than to fall asleep in your arms while you give him a belly rub. And if you like them smaller in your lap, he’s your boy! 🐶 Age: Morgan is 20 months old. 👍🏻 Weight: 7.5 lbs. 🐾 Circumstances: Breeder surrender. 🐕 Temperament: A born-again velcro pup! ❤️ Health: Sweet pup Morgan is a 20-month-old, intact male weighing a tiny 7.5 pounds and could gain 1-2 pounds. Treatment for fleas, ear infections and deworming was completed; heartworm test is negative; and blood chemistry is normal. Arriving with no medical records he will need distemper and parvo titers and rabies vaccination. Morgan will have a dental cleaning and neuter surgery after his anemia has resolved. CRF microchips all rescues. 🏡 Forever Home Requirements: ✔️ Preferably an at-home adult most of the day in a quiet home. ✔️ Fenced yard for roaming and playtime required. ✔️ Commitment to daily walks/exercise to help maintain her health. ✔️ A commitment to continued training. 💸 Adoption Donation: $900 If you believe you, your home and lifestyle offer Morgan everything he needs, please complete an adoption application. < back to home Monty Donate Adopted! Meet Monty , an extremely affectionate black & tan pup who just wants to be held. And once do hold him, you won’t be able to get enough of his luxurious ebony coat and stunning Cavalier markings. Monty does just have one eye, but that doesn't slow him down a bit. In fact, it makes him even more adorable and endearing. Monty is very smart and will be easily trainable. He is learning to walk on a leash and getting along with other dogs in his space. Monty needs to learn a little patience when it comes to grooming that beautiful coat. He is one happy boy and will jump up to greet you. And we mean “up”–this boy has a vertical jump that any basketball player would envy. However, loud noises like thunder startle him. There are so many things to love about Monty . • Alex & Abby | Cavalier Rescue FL

< back to home Alex & Abby Donate Adopted! Bonded 'cause we understood ♫ There's one perfect fit ♪ And, sugar, this one is it ♫ We both are so excited 'cause we're bonded . . . Beautiful Alex and Abby are in love and not reunited, because they’ve always been together . . . and need to always be so. This Blenheim duo are pretty much the definition of a bonded pair. You might think there’s velcro in that fur, they frequently cuddle so tightly. Come nighttime, they can be found happily piled on top of each other in their crate, though we don’t doubt they might be open to a group cuddle in the big bed. The younger Alex is simply a super happy pup that is generous with the cuddles, freely offering his belly. He’s described as a go-lucky free spirit and still oozes that puppy feeling. Alex loves a good run-around as a way to let that energy out, so a fenced yard is essential. Big sister Abby just adores her brother and is a gentle girl, the calmer of the two. She is an avid hunter though, loving a good chase after lizards, squirrels, and even cats, so your safety is guaranteed. Food is important to her and give a good shake to a treat bag and you’ll have Abby ’s attention. • Gabriel | Cavalier Rescue FL

< back to home Gabriel DONATE Adopted! What can be said about sweet Gabriel ? A lot! If you haven’t heard his story, it’s a heartbreaker. Gabriel came to rescue in a state of neglect, but with time, healing and some love, his true spirit is shining through. Things to know about this adorable senior boy: He acclimates to new situations easily and learns routines quickly. Since Gabriel is hard of hearing, hand signals are used for commands. He knows ‘Come’ and ‘Stay’. He is housebroken and walks to the door when he needs to go out. You’ll have a shadow. Gabriel loves his humans. He even enjoys watching his meals being prepared, but even more than that, he loves to eat them. No leftovers for this boy. Though Gabriel suffers from osteoarthritis and is on medication to improve joint health, he enjoys short walks a couple of times a day. Ongoing rehab therapy is helping ease his discomfort. He sleeps in a soft bed near his humans. He likes car rides from the safety of a crate. Heart issues are also on Gabriel’s list of things to address on his road to a better life. The good news is he is responding well to treatments. He is so much happier and healthier now. However, regular cardiologist checkups will be required. Ruby-coated (with a touch of grey) Gabriel is good with other dogs and cats, but he has not been around children. 🐶 Age: 10 years young 👍🏻 Weight: Currently 20 lbs.
